These were documented in 1911 in MIFAO 13, Fouilles à Baouît I. The sequel to this work was never published. However, the set of archival materials presented here includes a short introduction by Émile Chassinat (1868–1948), along with most of the plates that he had already laid out in preparation for the proofs of the volume. It proves that Chassinat had hoped to present the scholarly world with the entirety of his work at Bawit.
