A brief historical relation of the most material passages and persecutions of the Church of Christ, from the death of our Saviour, to the time of William the Conqueror [Elektronisk resurs] Collected out of the Acts and monuments of the church, written by Mr. Fox; and compiled in the three first books of the said book of martyrs, written by the same author. Viz. The first book of the Acts and monuments, containing the three hundred years next after Christ, with the ten first persecutions of the primitive church. The second book, containing the next three hundred years following, with such things as especially followed and hapned in England, from the time of King Lucius to Gregorius, and to the time of King Egbert.
